4-Day Experience
“Carlos can balance a Tucan on his back — a real highlight of my trip. The food and staff at Tucan Lodge are fantastic. Only lodge 100% owned by locals.”
4-Day Experience
“I went for 5 days and wanted to stay longer. Stalin made us laugh a lot, answered every question, and if he didn’t know the answer he would go find out.”

How experiences stay personal.
We keep groups small, with a maximum of 10 guests per guide, so days stay flexible and connected.
You’ll be guided by bilingual local guides who know the region deeply and adapt each day to the group and the jungle.
Yes, we can adapt the menu to dietary restrictions or preferences (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, intolerances, etc), as long as we are informed in advance.
Yes, there is parking available near the meeting point (Cuyabeno Bridge) for guests arriving by their own car or a rented car. It belongs to a local community member and costs $5 for the entire stay.
If for any reason you cannot take the tour on the reserved date, you can change the travel date without any charge.
Safety is part of how we operate every day.
Experiences are led by trained, bilingual local guides, groups are kept small, and activities are planned around conditions in the jungle and river. We adapt each day to the environment and the group, rather than following rigid itineraries.
Rain is part of life in the Amazon.
Activities continue with flexibility, and plans often shift with weather, wildlife movement, or river conditions. Many guests find rain adds to the atmosphere rather than taking away from the experience.
Yes. Many guests arrive on their own.
Shared meals, small groups, and social spaces make it easy to connect, while private spaces are always available if you want quiet time. Solo travelers often choose the Spider Room, but all stays are open to everyone.
No. Activities are designed to be accessible and adaptable.
You’re encouraged to participate at your own pace, and there’s always the option to rest in the canoe or sit out an activity. Guides adjust plans based on group energy and conditions.
